- Provide financial information and services as enablers to effective business management.
- Member of the Cluster leadership team
- Lead, manage and develop the finance organization
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
- Develop an efficient, competent and motivated local finance organization.
- Ensure best coordination and communication with the finance GSC in Pune.
- Drive discussions / actions to achieve D&D collections and P&L performance of the cluster.
- Ensure that local finance and control are complete, accurate and timely in line with global guidelines and local laws and regulations.
- Interact with the authorities (central Bank, Tax etc) as required.
- Cash Flow Management.
- Establish and maintain an appropriate control environment across functions.
- Office Administration and Procurement.
OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
- Achieve cluster targets as agreed with the cluster top /Africa Regional office.
- Ensure at all times that financial activities meet global requirements and local regulations.
- Optimize working capital of the Cluster.
- Recruit, develop and retain competent team of finance staff.
- Maintain good relationship with the GSC in Pune ensuring best performance of the Cluster Finance.
- Pro-actively interact and act as a business partner to the other functions in the Cluster to achieve best receivables collections processes, supplier negotiations and lowest agency cost.
