Programs and Budget Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist with project implementation – Help organize meetings, oversee travel arrangements, track contracts with consultants, and manage other arrangements.
- Prepare and track budgets – Work with project managers to prepare project budgets, maintain grant files, track project expenses, and prepare financial reports for donors.
- Manage Center publications – Oversee production timelines, including drafting, editing, design, layout, and printing of Center publications.
- Other administrative and research tasks as required.

The Center on Global Counterterrorism Cooperation is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit research and policy institute based in Washington, DC that works to improve multilateral counterterrorism programming and awareness through regional and issue-area projects around the world. Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations or related field; MA in international relations or related field preferred.
- Previous experience with project management, include preparing, tracking, and reporting on grants.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel required; familiarity with QuickBooks preferred
- Careful attention to detail and ability to self-review work for accuracy.
