BASF (Senior) Manager Innovation and Technology Policy
What you can expect:
You will monitor and analyse relevant topics in the field of innovation and technology (e.g. toxicology, green biotechnology, nanotechnology and biodiversity) on a national, European and global basis. Ensuring an one voice policy and consistent issue positioning, you will create coordination circles and continuously contribute to strengthen the work of ZOA - Communications & Government Relations within the BASF group. You will be responsible for driving a number of important innovation and technology related issues (e.g. representing BASF interests via trade associations, drafting, executive briefings, presentations, notes, advocacy plans and contributing to the overall innovation and technology policy team effort). You will also work with external stakeholders, EU institutions and NGOs to build up and leverage politically and scientifically orientated networks.
What we expect:
You have earned a degree in political and or natural sciences, engineering, law or equivalent. Within a similar position, you have already successfully applied your professional experiences in the field of communication, regulation, advocacy or consultancy. Experience of technology and innovation related policy, regulation and societal acceptance, e.g. in the fields of toxicology, green biotechnology, nanotechnology and/or biodiversity, would be advantageous. Having worked internationally, your English language skills are proficient and you are familiar with MS Office programs. You are respected for your excellent communication, social interaction and team working skills, capacity to influence others and highly developed analytical and strategic thinking.
