CDC Director of Development Impact

CDC Group plc has commenced a global search for a Director of Development Impact. This new role entails working closely with CDC’s investment teams, stakeholders and investment partners to agree a framework for measuring, tracking and evaluating the impact of our investments. With an understanding of the commercial context of CDC’s activities, the Director will develop the indicators with greatest relevance to CDC and its stakeholders, balancing the views and practices of the investment and development communities and supporting harmonisation of existing frameworks where this makes sense.

Candidates will be forward thinking, yet grounded in the historical context of the relevant communities; and able to command the respect of a broad audience. Experience of both the private and public sector is a must, as is a desire to demonstrate that the private sector can be the vehicle for positive, lasting change in some of the world’s poorest countries.
