MX-Corporate Communications Director

  • Lead Mexico Business Unit communications strategy to gain the goodwill of key stakeholders, influencing positive agenda-setting around relevant business issues and increasing the Company’s reputation, as well as brands’ and category’s positive positioning, especially among opinion elites/shapers.

  • Lead the design and implementation of Project Sparkle and the PAC component of Marketing the Category in the Mexico Business Unit to protect our business, our brands and our Company, balancing the debate in a continuous basis and building the network needed to engage third party allies

  • Foster the reputation of Coca-Cola de Mexico through the design and implementation of the Live Positively sustainability business strategy, involving bottlers and other functions.

  • Champion efforts to foster a healthy and productive working environment and ambassadorship among the Coca-Cola System People (associates and bottlers).


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead Project Sparkle and Marketing the Category’s Public Affairs and Communications strategy and its execution to protect the business, balance the debate in a continuous basis, and to build the network needed to engage third party allies.
2. Create Live Positively Sustainability Business Strategy and lead its implementation involving 11 bottlers and a cross-functional team.
3. Lead Mexico Business Unit Communications Strategy to gain the goodwill of key opinion shapers/stakeholders, influencing positive agenda setting around relevant business issues, and increasing Company’s Reputation and brands’ and products’ positive positioning across the country. Active participation in trade and industrial associations.
4. Create and lead the implementation of the Coca-Cola System Communications Capability Development Plan with the objective to install and expand Business Vision to 2020 within the System, as well as implementing a common communications strategic
framework that would enable an Ambassadors Program adoption among the bottlers, involving the 93,000 employees in Mexico.
5. Design and implement contingency and crisis management plans to anticipate solutions and shield the business.
6. Benchmark corporate communication practices with Global, LAG, other Business Units and other high performing companies, exporting and importing best practices

 RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

-          Bacherlor’s degree in Communications. Complementary studies will be a plus..

-          At least 10 years of experience in communications roles.

-          Journalistic and media management experience in Mexico.

-          Digital Communications experience.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
University/Bachelors degree (Communications or similar)
