For the past three and a half years Dr Alison Evans has steered ODI’s 180 staff through a period of extraordinary growth and change culminating in the launch of a powerful new strategic framework. Through applied research of the highest quality, practical policy advice and policy-focused debate, ODI now leads global thinking on the key development issues of tomorrow.
ODI is now seeking a new Executive Director to build on Dr Evans’s exceptional achievements. Working with partners in both the public and private sectors, the new Executive Director will lead the Institute to ever greater success and influence at an exciting moment in global development.
Candidates will have a passion for, and a deep knowledge of, global development, along with a profound understanding of research processes. With proven leadership and management experience, and highly developed communication skills, the Executive Director will help the Board in the implementation of a strategy that positions the Institute at the forefront of innovative thinking.
