At Oikocredit International based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a
PRE-EXPORT FINANCE SPECIALIST
(36 hours a week)
Responsibilities
The new colleague will join the team within the Department of Loans & Investments and will be mainly responsible for implementing Oikocredit’s pre-export finance strategy for agricultural commodities including coffee and cocoa. He/she will be the internal expert in pre-export finance and credit management in the fair trade sector and key account manager for international trading companies managing direct credit lines. The Specialist will train staff regional and country offices in Latin America and Africa in pre-export finance and will develop procedures and provide monitoring for all pre-export finance deals.
Education and experience
Oikocredit is looking for a person with a Bachelor or Master in the field of finance, economics and/or business and 3 years of experience in pre-export finance or corporate finance. The person should have good project management skills and a strong interest in the field of economics in developing countries. Thorough knowledge of English is essential, French and Spanish highly desired. This position will require 20-30% of time travelling.
