At Oikocredit International based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a
MANAGER PROGRAMS,
ENVIRONMENT and SOCIAL PERFORMANCE
(36 hours a week)
Responsibilities
The new colleague will join the team within the Department of Social Performance & Financial Analysis and will be mainly responsible for implementing Oikocredit’s environmental policy and managing the Social Performance information team. He/she will be the project manager of the development and implementation of Oikocredit’s environmental policy and will coordinate Oikocredit’s initiatives in improving our accountability in social and environmental terms. The Manager Programs will play an important role in the further development of the department and the collaboration with our regional and country offices regarding this subject.
Education and experience
Oikocredit is looking for a person with a Master in the field of finance, economics and/or business and minimum 5 years of experience in environmental policy and/or information management. The person should have good excellent management and communications skills and a strong interest in the field of economics in developing countries. Knowledge of social performance management in microfinance or other sectors is a plus. Thorough knowledge of English is essential, French and Spanish highly desired. This position will require occasional travel to Oikocredit’s offices worldwide.
