Teaching Assistant in Engineering Geology

Fixed Term for 4 months, start date 1 January 2014
You will be required to carry out teaching in engineering geology at taught postgraduate and undergraduate level, contributing to the highly successful postgraduate taught MSc programme in Engineering Geology, as well as an undergraduate module for final year students of Geosciences and Civil Engineering. You will also be expected to engage in appropriate administrative duties, including as agreed with the Engineering Geology teaching team and the Head of School.
You will be qualified to Masters level (or equivalent), with an appropriate background in academic research/teaching or professional practice in a relevant geoscience subject area, along with the potential to teach effectively at all levels within higher education.
