Key performance areas
Your overall goal is to provide superior customer service to existing accounts and new prospects by delivering solutions that meet and exceed customer demands. In addition to attracting new clients and opening new markets for Coromant products, you will support existing accounts and meet sales objectives. You are expected to keep up to date on competitor activities, which you will analyze and use to develop territory strategy recommendations for the Regional or Senior Regional Sales Managers. Through testing and evaluation of customer and prospect processes, you willdesign solutions and tooling systems for any tooling-related production issues customers or prospects may have, and when necessary, present productivity improvement plans (PIPs) that highlight the proper application of Coromant value-added products. Regular interaction with stakeholders both in and outside of the company is routine. You will maintain regular contact with assigned authorized distribution channels to promote and encourage the sale of Coromant products as well as evaluate authorized distributors and prospective distributors.

  • Meet goals for sales volume and Administrative and Sales (A&S) expense and product sales
Your role
You are a highly organized, outgoing self-starter. Apart from holding an associate’s degree in an applied science, a business degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in a technical sales position or an industrial background, you understand technology. Additionally, you have a well-developed ability to prioritize, follow up and conclude deals. You recognize that cultivating effective partnerships with our customers and delivering solutions that meet their current and future demands is essential to continued growth and success. You also:

  • Easily develop productive relationships with clients and prospects and with stakeholders throughout the company
  • Are comfortable working with virtual teams
  • Handle mathematical calculations for product applications and sales statistics quickly and accurately
