Context
The FARNET Support Unit (FSU) is looking for a Team Assistant, reporting to the Contract Manager.

The FSU is based in Brussels and provides technical assistance to the Directorate General for Maritime Affaires and Fisheries of the European Commission (DG MARE) on the implementation of Community Led Local Development (CLLD) in fisheries and coastal areas across the EU. Tasks and responsibilities
Main tasks include:
- Office reception: answering the phone, welcoming visitors and arranging meetings.
- General administrative duties: filing, agenda management, up-dating mailing lists and handling mailings, organising missions, assisting with the preparation of presentations and reports, liaising with suppliers.
- Logistics of internal seminars: organizing rooms, catering and documentation.
- Logistics of publications: ensuring workflow with suppliers (translation, lay-out, print, dispatch).
Candidate profile
- Preferably English mother tongue, or highly proficient. French and additional languages an asset.
- Totally versatile in Microsoft Office, in particular Word (long documents) and Power Point. Additional software an asset.
- The ideal candidate will be friendly, methodical and able to demonstrate both initiative and flexibility.
- Part-time position: between 50% to 80% to be discussed. Presence in the office every morning required.
- Starting date: early September.
