Administration Action Against Hunger-CANADA
Action Against Hunger- Canada is looking for experienced humanitarians, Canadian citizens or permanent residents, ready to work abroad, to extend our pool of available expatriates. Experience of 2 years in humanitarian field is necessary.
Responsibility
To elaborate Action Against Hunger projects budget.
To control budget follow up:
- Consolidate mission monthly treasury forecast and ensure transmission to Headquarter,
- Define cash flow scheme and organize transfer to bases,
- Follow financial risks link to mission activity,
- Supervision of the strict application of the internal regulations.
To manage Human Resources:
- Design and implement a proper training, recruitment and evaluation plan policy for the national staff,
- Train administration team on budget aspects.
Ensure implementation of Action Against Hunger standard purchase procedures and documents.
Ensure on time edition and archive of donors intermediary and final reports according to each donors standards.
Qualifications
- Strong financial background (accountancy or financial management). Ability to analyze budgets and make financial forecasts.
- Staff management experience and strong HR Management skills
- Rigorous organizational skills (definition of priorities, delegation, training)
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Accountancy packages, and system management)
- Initiative, flexibility and wider vision of further impact of the administrative issues
- Ability to adapt and deal with stressful situations
- Team player and good communication skills
Humanitarian field experience requested
Vacant positions are available only at Coordinator level.
