Bus Driver
Currently ABG has an opening for a Bus Driver at North Mara Mine site). Below are the key responsibilities for the position and qualifications.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking dedicated, seif motivated and highly organized person to perform professional drive duties to the correct standard, as reguired both on and of site.
Reporting : Village and Service manager
Location: North Mara Mine Site
Work Schedule: Rotational Status (8 Weeks on 4 Week off)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily vehicle pre start check as per the checklist,
Ensure that all vehicles that resort under their responsibility are at all times properly cleaned and maintained.
Ensure that the buses that resort under their responsibility attend the daily EHME inspection.
Ensure that all vehicle under resorting under their responsibility are regularly serviced according to the formal schedules from LV and EHME. Ensure that the proper documentation for trips off the site is approved by the General Manager and the Village and services Manager,
Collect and deliver employees from designated location across the North Mara mine site.
Conducted the designated airstrips, observing the departure and arrival times of aircraft in order to avoid delays.
Conduct driving duties in support of regular cleaning and maintenance campaigns across the North Mara mine site
May assist the HR department with certain activities should their primary task of rendering a professional drives service not affected
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicants must have the following qualifications/skills: Holder of driving license Class C
Completed Secondary Education
PSV Certificate (NIT)
Advanced Drivers Course Grade II (VIP) NIT
Minimum 3 years experience as a professional driver in a large organization. Good oral and written communications skills, both in English and Kiswahili. High level of seif motivation
Excellent work ethics
