Lumos is an international charity working to end the institutionalisation of children.

We work to tackle poverty and disadvantage, to promote educational inclusion, child health and development and to prevent child abuse and neglect in any part of the world. Our work currently focuses on Central and Eastern Europe.

We are currently recruiting the following post:

Director of Programmes and Advocacy (£63,000 - £75,000)

Providing strategic direction for Lumos’ country programmes and international advocacy work, primary responsibilities include:
• Leading implementation of our programmes, advocacy and campaigning.
• Managing the programmes team, budget and annual planning cycle.
• Ensuring quality, impact and value for money in all our programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a background in health, education, social work or law, and at least 10 years senior management experience in international development/children’s rights. The post is based in London and will require some international travel.
