Project Manager for Sahil Essential Package of Health Services

Health Poverty Action works with some of the poorest and most marginalised communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America, often in very difficult environments. We work to enable these communities to achieve improvements to their health, promoting this as one of their fundamental human rights.

Project Manager for Sahil Essential Package of Health Services (EPHS) Pilot Project (12 month contract with possibility of extension)


Salary range from $ 27,000 to $ 30,000 per year + 5% pension + $600US a month accommodation allowance + home/regional flight every 8 weeks + 25 day of annual leave + 1 week of R&R leave every 8 weeks + 12 days of national holidays


The post provides overall management for the EPHS Pilot Programme in Sahil, ensuring good financial and general administration of Programme, staff, finances and assets. The post holder will represent Health Poverty Action in the promotion of excellent relationships with central and local government departments, international organizations, other NGO’s and in-country donors.


We want to hear from you if you have proven commitment to addressing global poverty issues; if you are qualified in public health; have proven skills in project cycle management, preferably gained in Sub-Saharan Africa; have excellent communication skills; and are committed to working with marginalized communities. You must be fluent in English.
