Senior Server Software Engineer
dTS is a strategic management consulting firm leading initiatives in social and economic development worldwide with a view to promoting equality and accountability. In recent years, dTS has worked in over 40 countries and provided gender integration, training and capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation services to USAID and the World Bank.
dTS is seeking a Senior Server Software Engineer for a USAID funded Monitoring and Evaluation project in Pakistan to assist with the development and administration of the project Management Information System (MIS) with Geographic Information System (GIS) capabilities. The Senior Server Software Engineer will be responsible for extending the existing Windows Communication Framework based services to support new system requirements and will and will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining project monitoring information systems.
Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements:
Advanced degree in information systems, library science or a related field with concentration in technology applications (required)
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in developing and maintaining web applications and designing and implementing M&E information systems (required)
Previous experience working with USAID and other large donor organizations (required)
Broad understanding of MIS in the context of M&E (required)
Experience working in Pakistan (required)
Detail oriented and organized
Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
Good problem solving skills
Team oriented individual
High level of proficiency in MS Office applications and databases
