Intellecap works at the intersection of the private sector and development. It provides consulting and investment banking services driven by innovative thought processes, to Business and Development communities globally, helping them bring entrepreneurship solutions to development challenges at the Base of the Pyramid and beyond. Intellecap’s interventions are designed to catalyze initiatives for both large corporate and social entrepreneurs in pursuit of rapid global development. Our footprint extends to several locations globally, and we service a prestigious global client base including Development Finance Institutions, private sector investors, foundations, governments, and inclusive and social businesses.

Over the years, Intellecap has completed over 175 consulting projects, intermediated investment capital in excess of US $ 200 million, and launched 10 significant initiatives with the potential to influence the role of entrepreneurship in the field of development. Following current re-structuring and geographic repositioning initiatives driven by recent successes, these interventions will be delivered by up to five subsidiaries that are part of the Intellecap Group.

As we embark on our newly laid down global scale-up plan, the Board of Intellecap is seeking to strengthen an existing high-achieving leadership team through the provision of exceptional leadership, mentorship and guidance to them and the wider organization.

The Position

Intellecap’s Board, through a CEO Selection committee which includes the current incumbent, is seeking applications from passionate young leaders with global aspirations and an entrepreneurial mind set, to lead the team into a phase of rapid global expansion. The Chief Executive Officer will be entrusted with the responsibility to deliver against the vision laid by the Board, and be held primarily responsible for managing the Profit & Loss account of Intellecap business verticals through this period of growth.

Preferably MBA-qualified, you are likely to have around 20 years’ experience of strategic roles in fast growing Consulting and/ or Investment Banking businesses globally. You must have demonstrated success in managing top and bottom-line targets. We are seeking an enthusiastic leader willing to push the envelope while building a transparent and accountable institution. Your ability to nurture and mentor a world-class team will be a critical contributor to your success. Experience in inclusive businesses and emerging markets is highly desirable. Compensation will include a fixed component, a significant performance component, and stock options. We have offices in New Delhi/ Mumbai/ Hyderabad India.
