Deputy Chief of Party

Checchi Consulting seeks a Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Security and Justice Sector Reform Project in Guatemala. The Project will support the implementation of security and justice sector reform efforts promoted by the Government of Guatemala (GOG); provide technical assistance to GOG institutions to improve its capacity to manage security and justice administration; and strengthen civil society oversight of security and justice services.

The Deputy Chief of Party will assist with the implementation and management of all project activities. He/she will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services to the Project; assisting with the preparation of all reports required by USAID; providing technical assistance in areas of his/her expertise; and ensuring effective coordination between long-term team members and short-term specialists for the different Project components.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least five years of prior experience in Latin America, be fluent in Spanish, detail-oriented, well organized, and possess strong writing skills. Preferred candidates will be U.S. citizens who have prior experience with USAID contract management, regulations and procedures.
