Policy Advisor Investments CEA, insurers of Europe

Monitors EU initiatives and identifies emerging regulatory trends and issues which could have an impact on the insurance industry’s financial investment policies;

Provides thorough analysis of developments and their impact on the position of CEA’s members. Advises the management about actions to undertake;

Organises and is responsible for the work of the CEA vis-à-vis internal stakeholders, i.e. the member organisations and their representatives; supports CEA working groups and committees.

Provides services to the CEA-members, e.g. is a point of contact for the members, formulates policy proposals in consultation with relevant experts, informs about legislative developments and the sector position;

Organizes and assumes responsibility for contacts and coordination with external stakeholders, e.g. the relevant EU authorities as well as other public or private organisations;

Is able to develop the CEA position, and to influence external partners;

Contributes to studies in order to help formulate proposals for regulation or legislation;

Provides content to CEA publications. Participates actively in seminars and conferences.
