Snr Fund Raising Officer (Corporate Relations), P4

The incumbent reports to the P5 Chief of Section (Leadership Giving) and leads the Unit within the Leadership Giving Section working to raise funds from Companies. Therefore, the incumbent is responsible for: · Management of the Corporate Partnerships Unit and supervisory responsibility for its 4 staff. · Setting and implementing the Private Sector Fund Raising (PSFR) Corporate Partnerships Strategy. · Co-ordination with UNHCR representations and National Associations in the PSFR Network involved in or planning to engage in corporate fund raising and partnerships. · Relationship management of a defined number of existing relationships with UNHCR corporate supporters that are managed by the International Section. · Designing new corporate partnerships respecting UNHCR policies and organizational priorities. · Providing guidance on corporate partnership related matters to senior UNHCR staff. Collaboration within the wider PSFR Team is essential to the success of UNHCR’s PSFR strategy and therefore the post holder must establish collaborative working relationships both internally with senior staff across the organisation and externally with donors, volunteers and other key stakeholders. External work relationships and contacts: · Corporate leaders and their representatives. · Suppliers, consultants, agencies and freelance advisors. Internal work relationships and contacts: · The wider PSFR Team with special focus on the Regional Leadership Giving staff to support delivery of thePSFR department strategy. · Senior management staff in UNHCR for appropriate relationship management of corporate donors. · The Thematic Project & Proposal Development Unit for proposals and reporting.
