Business Studies (1 Post): Dobsonville Campus (Ref. DV BS/03/11)


Requirements for all PL3 posts: • An appropriate Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recognised qualification/Teaching Diploma or a minimum of an REQV 13 • 5 years’ teaching and management experience • Thorough knowledge of all policies and legislation governing FET colleges in RSA • Registration with SACE • Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook) • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) • Analytical skills.


Duties for PL2 and PL3 posts: • Manage curriculum activities for both NC(V), occupational and skills programmes and Report 191 programmes • Monitor curriculum delivery for programmes applied • Organise experiential learning and teaching, including excursions for students • Advise on the training and development needs of staff under his/her control • Report on and account for lecturer and student performance in his/her programme(s) • Engage in contact teaching and learning in a classroom • Perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning.
