Senior Media Manager Emergencies & Advocacy

About you

Are you an experienced media communicator, or journalist with a proven record of working on the frontline of disaster response such as earthquake, flood and tsunami?

Are you used to working with the media to effect change and to influence government policy? Can you produce crisp, punchy media copy to tight deadlines?

Have you an innate news sense, and would you use it to help improve the lives of vulnerable children and their families?

About the role

The Senior Media Manager will drive media interest in Save the Children's work at home and overseas. You will help position us as an authoritative voice on children's rights, and a leading agency in humanitarian emergencies.

This exciting and challenging role requires you to work on the frontline of emergencies and articulate Save the Children’s child rights agenda through working with the media.
