Thailand Programme Manager - Chiang Mai

The R10 Programme Manager will be responsible for quality assurance and support of the management of the GFATM R10 grant. He/she will lead and support the R10 team based in Chiang Mai and Bangkok, complying with GFATM regulations and procedures, as well as Malaria Consortium operational guidelines. He/she will work closely with DDC, BVBD, and other partners to monitor implementation progress and Malaria Consortium’s achievement of indicator targets.

The successful candidate will: • Post-graduate degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Public Administration or other related area. • Programme/project management experience in the public health field, preferably in malaria. • Experience with GFATM procedures and programme implementation;
• Working experience with Governments, International and Non-government Organizations and donors at different levels; • Substantive knowledge in monitoring and evaluation of activities;
• Experience strengthening capacity in the health field.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with national and international staff, and maintain strong working relationships with partners. • Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent command of English and Thai with exceptional writing and communication skills.
