Who are we?

The Role

We want to strengthen the support we give to our country programmes and across the region through research-based strategy and policy papers. Acting as a thought leader and collaborating with influential local research institutions, you’ll produce and manage multi-country research that strengthens our strategic thinking and helps us make a bigger difference. You’ll be monitoring major trends in the region, building the research skills of our country teams, agreeing research priorities as well as developing research methodology and design on poverty and inequality.

The Requirements

To meet the challenge, you need to be strong and innovative thinker. You’ll have a broad understanding of the major economic, social, humanitarian and poverty issues in the Asia region. Experience of working across the Asia region is a must. It’ll be your minimum of 5 years of research experience of managing research projects and other researchers – especially in collaboration with research organisation – and your ability to produce outstanding written reports that will stand you in good stead in supporting our programmes across the region. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
