Fleishman-Hillard’s Brussels office is seeking a flexible and pro-active Account Manager for a European association.
Candidate requirements:
- The Account Manager will support the Secretary General of the European Payment Institutions Federation (EPIF) in managing the daily business operations of the association and the coordination of services;
- We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, pragmatic and flexible team player who is enthusiastic and has initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Handling of inquiries and frequent communication with the various members and external audiences;
- Reporting to the board and managing the membership base;
- Involved in the recruitment of new members, including database management, research, marketing strategy and contract set up;
- Association back-office administration (handling of requests, collection of reports, record keeping and filing, general communication and follow-ups, preparation of mailings, support budget process and handling invoices/payments, managing agendas, in & out-coming emails, travelling and registrations to exhibitions etc.);
- Maintenance and update of the association’s website;
- Issuing Newsletters;
- Preparation and coordination of committees, meetings and general administration (incl preparing participants’ list, meeting packs, dealing with suppliers and logistics).
Qualifications:
- Experience of working on behalf of an association would be an asset;
- Superior customer service, time-management and conflict management skills are required;
- Interest in payments issues;
- Able to handle multiple tasks and solve routine and complex inquiries;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise deadlines;
- Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages an advantage);
- High personal integrity and dedication;
- Ability to work in an international and challenging environment.
