Events Coordinator, FPA Young Professionals Leadership Council

Program Description:

Established by the renowned Foreign Policy Association, the Young Professional Membership is designed to bring together the next generation of actors in the foreign policy field through networking events, career development resources, and its specialized FPA U career seminars, which have expanded from New York City to Washington, D.C. and Boston, and continue to grow.

As we work to build and develop the FPA-YP Membership through stimulating engagements such as specialized career panels, peer-to-peer debates, discussion groups, film screenings, among others, we are forming a Leadership Council of creative and spirited individuals to significantly support the development of FPA-YP programming. Leadership Council members receive all benefits of FPA-YP membership. Develop both your professional and personal network through this opportunity to work with FPA by taking on a leadership role within an elite group of young professionals in the foreign policy world.

Position Description:

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with the Program Coordinator in organizing the logistics related to FPA-YP program activity planning. Duties will include, but are not limited to, identifying venues and speakers, coordinating scheduling, obtaining/securing supplies, and following up regarding contracts and payments.
