Responsibilities/Output: |
- Good team player, act independently and with initiative, pro-active, work under pressure and without supervision.
- Motivated to comply and promote the I.T policies of the organization.
- To conform to the organization's information security policy and appropriate methods of working.
- Maintain optimal service levels for all users and systems.
- Provide day to day Maintenance for Systems integrity.
- Provide all levels of support within designated SLA.
- Ability to prioritise and delegate work.
- Network, server and user support:
- LAN/WAN:
- Troubleshooting of WAN environment for different branches,
- Ability to fault find and resolve all network related errors, network switches, optic-fibre links. Ability to manufacture network cables and install neatly within environment.
- Required to interact with clients in terms of supplying recommendations to improve their network.
- Server:
- Have a good understanding of Windows Small Business Server 2003, Active Directory and administration of servers.
- Management of backup solutions.
- Knowledge of VIP Payroll.
- Management of Anti-Virus and resolution of virus infections across network.
- Desktop:
- Must have good understanding of MS back office products.
- Provide support on 3G modems and routers.
- Provide support on mobile devices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and setup network, USB, dot matrix printers.
- Knowledge and capability to provide support on MS Windows XP Pro/ Vista/ Windows 7.

- Microsoft certification or studying towards
- MCP accreditation preferable
- At least 3 years client-facing experience in desktop, server, LAN/WAN support.
- Required to manage support for a minimum of 150 users.
