Sr. Analyst Commercial Finance & Performance

Provide financial and decision support to the DGUSA Commercial Finance & Performance Team, Regional Marketing and Quality Team. Also responsible for the development, support and maintenance of the Sales Performance Tools and the overall data quality that help uncover insights and drive profitable business performance.

Complexity of Role:
· He/she must be able to work with different functional specialists and use his/her influencing skills to effect change.
· Liaison with Central Accounting and Reporting team as well as IT, Sales and Marketing
· Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, VA and SAP
· Ability to resolve data issues and identify areas for process and system enhancements.

Key Outputs/Deliverables:
· Support stakeholders with financial data requirements and/or financial analysis needed.
· Maintain current and new reports developed by the Sales Performance Team such as: Depletion reports, Distribution Trackers, Opportunity Locators, Scorecards, ABP’s, etc.
· Develop Ad Hoc reports using Access, Excel pull data extracts from Cognos Cubes
· Play a key role in the modeling, completion and submission of Annual Operating Plan specifically depletions, shipments, trade price and A&P.
· Accurate, thorough and timely analysis provided as needs are identified or requested.
· Act as point person when management has questions regarding monthly A&P spend tracking for Regional Marketing and Quality Teams.
· Good working relationship established resulting in conducting business matters smoothly as well as working to make improvements in business processes where applicable.
· Become resident system expert in finance and accounts sold (outlet level) data
Experience:
· BS in Finance / Accounting / Business Required
· Finance / Accounting / Business 5+ years of increasing financial and commercial experience
· Ability to lead, influence and motivate all levels within the location.
· Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Strong team player.
· Good relationship building skills.
· Problem solver with strong analytical and planning skills.
· Strong and extensive systems experience with MS Excel and MS Access.
· Must be able to effectively manage time and a variety of responsibilities.
