Novo Nordisk IT & Corporate Development is looking for IT Infrastructure and IT Operation architects with a special interest in End User Computing. We are more than 250 highly skilled IT professionals responsible for all major IT projects and IT systems as well as IT Infrastructure and Operation in Novo Nordisk.

The global IT Infrastructure in Novo Nordisk serves more than 30.000 clients worldwide, with major business processes covered by corporate systems based on SAP, Siebel, Microsoft and Oracle.

The global IT Infrastructure is undergoing major changes, with large initiatives within data centre consolidation, global operations and unified communication. In addition, significant changes are in progress regarding server and desktop virtualisation, storage optimisation as well as global security management.

Currently Windows7 is being rolled out globally – this is expected to be completed mid-2012.


Challenges
As an IT Infrastructure/IT Operation architect, you interact with our customers at all levels of the organisation and you help understand the challenges within the end-user computing area, present the possible solutions and manage the transformation of the global IT Infrastructure in Novo Nordisk through large scale projects and initiatives.

You thrive in an international project environment, are comfortable with complex challenges and ambitious goals, and can stand up to the pressure that comes with being responsible for a global IT architecture and high-profile IT project.

One of you key tasks will be to look beyond Windows7 and prepare our organisation and infrastructure for the necessary changes.


Qualifications
You have 10+ years of experience with IT Infrastructure Architecture and Operation as well a Project Management experience from an international consultancy firm, IT vendor or other complex, internationally working company. Preferably, you have a Master’s degree with excellent results within business administration, engineering, computer science or economics. meb

Fluency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite.

The job is based in Copenhagen, Denmark but some business travel is anticipated.
