Priddy Books Production Controller
Production Controller (six month maternity cover contract)
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Production Controller to join the Priddy Books team for an initial period of six months to cover maternity leave.
You will be required to organise the end to end process of the production of backlist and special sales titles, liaising with the design and editorial teams to ensure the production of each title is on time and within budget. You will also need to manage your time and projects effectively.
A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook is essential; the chosen candidate will also be involved in the safety regulations related to the production of our wide range of titles for babies, toddlers and young children so previous knowledge or experience of this would be useful.
Working in the production team will require the successful candidate to have superb communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to prioritise tasks and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Experience in the production of children’s books, especially novelty based, is essential
