POSITION SUMMARY
Responsibility for financial and business objectives relating to strategy and targets set in regard to France Enterprise Marketing. Reports to the Marketing Director, France.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsibility for the achievement of financial and business targets set for the complete BlackBerry product portfolio (inclusive of BlackBerry Smartphones, Software, Platform, Technical Support and Accessories) across identified B2B channels to market.
  • Working with B2B Channel Managers to develop France Business Marketing Strategic objectives and financial metrics in line with France yearly and quarterly Country Plan.
  • In conjunction with B2B Channel Manager develop and implement a channel marketing program to ensure that additional indirect partners (e.g. IT VARs, IT Resellers, etc) have appropriate resource and plans in place to drive BlackBerry revenue from within their accounts.
  • In conjunction with Director, France Enterprise Sales ensure that marketing plans and activities are planned and implemented to support Enterprise acquisition and retention objectives.
  • Work with Business Marketing team to develop GTM plans (direct and indirect) for target verticals and key segments encompassing the appropriate elements of the complete BlackBerry portfolio and ecosystem of Alliance Partners.
  • Working with Business Marketing and Events Marketing own the overall development and execution of the BlackBerry Innovation Forum (BIF), RIM's key B2B event designed for Business Customers to hear more on mobility strategies from existing customers and Alliance Partners.
  • Ensure that plans are in place across all B2B channels (direct and indirect) to fully utilize the BlackBerry Experience Centre(BEC) and ensure it is updated.
  • Responsible for forecasting, budget/ expense planning and management, programme tracking, measurement etc. Monitor and manage performance to ensure objectives are met and report/ correct any deviation from plan.
  • Responsibility for planning and execution of Channel Marketing programs for all enterprise segments and channels in conjunction with Channel Account Managers. Working with other EMEA Business Marketing Managers to utilize best practices implemented in other carriers, countries, where appropriate.
  • Responsible for the development of 2 direct reports

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Business/ Marketing degree or senior marketing qualification or equivalent an advantage,
Industry experience
  • The candidate needs to able to 'hit the ground running' - B2B Telecommunications and IT channel experience is a prerequisite
  • Business Channel Marketing experience essential
  • Pertinent market knowledge and industry contacts highly desirable
Related experience
  • A proven track record that demonstrates strategic use of marketing tools to achieve financial objectives e.g. programmes that have resulted in increased revenues, growth in market share
  • Excellent communication skills a must
  • Can demonstrate understanding of the interconnectedness of disciplines
  • Has financial acuity - can handle a P&L, has experience of zero-based budgeting i.e. can formulate and negotiate a budget and achieve it accurately
