Head of EU Office – The Association of Local Authorities

The Association of Local Authorities in Skåne, Sweden, invites applications for the position of Head of Office, for our representation in Brussels.

The Association of Local Authorities in Skåne (in Swedish; Kommunförbundet Skåne) is the lead organization for the 33 local authorities in the region of Skåne. The association has the task of supporting and developing the local self-governance, protect local interests, promoting collaboration between municipalities and assist them in their activities. All 33 municipalities in Skåne are members of the Association.

Requirements

• University degree in Political Science, International Relations, European Studies or other relevant social sciences studies.
• Experience in working with EU-projects on a local level.
• Fluency in Swedish and English. Good working knowledge in French is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
