International Digital Support Advisor

As a senior professional and digital marketing specialist in the International Directorate, this role will have responsibility for supporting marketing fundraising programmes, helping us use our digital assets to raise funds globally and contribute to a wide range of initiatives.

Work with the International Communications Digital Team and the Market Development team (MDT) to:

  • Support fundraising programmes in developing their digital strategies, plans and initiatives. Encourage the integration of digital fundraising with communications plans and the other channels used in the acquisition and retention of donors.
  • Provide hands-on technical advice to ActionAid’s fundraising programmes to enable the effective development and delivery of digital fundraising initiatives
  • Develop and co-ordinate a digital fundraising special interest group across ActionAid to facilitate the sharing of best practice and innovation
  • Develop and share best practice for working with digital agencies
  • Work with the Fundraising Analyst and Market Insight Manager to devise systems for monitoring digital fundraising performance across AAI
  • Build knowledge of digital fundraising beyond the fundraising programmes and make key stakeholders aware of how digital developments could impact their wider strategies and plans.
  • Build a thorough and regularly updated system for tracking market trends and innovations in digital fundraising/marketing, as well as the existing digital habits and market distinctions within AAI which will inform all of the above.
  • Delivering on plans and initiatives across AAI to increase AAI’s ability to use digital assets to raise funds globally via the International website.
  • Work with fundraising programmes across AAI to identify their needs for international website infrastructure and digital platforms. Work closely with International Communications to deliver on these needs.
  • Work across International Fundraising to identify the market opportunities for digital fundraising beyond the geographic boundaries of existing members.
Salary:
