INTERVIDA PHILIPPINES FOUNDATION is a branch of a Spanish NGO whose mission is to provide sustainable development to rural communities by improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations, especially children. It operates in the provinces of Albay, Camarines Sur and Sorsogon.
Program Specialist for Child-Friendly Schools
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This strategic position is in charge of collaborating with local actors (government agencies, local government units, academe, NGOs and/or CSOs) throughout of design, implementation and evaluation of a child friendly schools program.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE POST:
> Propose and elaborate program strategies in line with the child
friendly schools framework
> Identify and collaborate with local partners in the planning,
implementation, and evaluation of the program
> Coordinate an advocacy strategy with other institutions
> Manage the program and the Intervida program team
REQUIREMENTS:
> Candidate must possess a Master's Degree preferably in Education.
> Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity
> Proficient in writing a program proposal
> Excellent oral and written English and Filipino; Fluency in Bicol
is also desirable
> Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and team management
skills
> Willing to be assigned in Legazpi City, Albay
We offer a 3-year program-based contract.
