Program Officer, Ecosystems and Human Health (Ecohealth)

The Ecosystems and Human Health (Ecohealth) Program supports developing-country researchers to improve human health and environmental conditions in an equitable, sustainable way. The research also addresses gender and social inequities, and poverty while developing ecologically sustainable strategies for improving health and livelihoods in developing countries.

As a Program Officer under the guidance of the Program Leader, you will work closely with a Senior Program Officer to manage and monitor a portfolio of activities on emerging infectious diseases and global change, primarily in South East Asia. Your responsibilities will include monitoring grants, assisting with institutional capacity development activities and building linkages and synergies across teams. You will also contribute to Ecohealth evaluation and learning activities and promote its models and concepts across health and environmental communities.
