Business Systems Manager - Commercial Products Supply

Position Overview:

This position is a senior member of the CPS (Commercial Products Supply) IT Management team, and this role provides strategy & direction for all IT systems & solutions for the CPS Corporate Division. Job scope covers SAP and ERP systems development projects, IT Infrastructure design, systems access (security), business continuity, as well as IT related administrative and managerial tasks.  This position is accountable for the team’s output & results and for aligning team objectives with Business Unit objectives. The CPS IT Headquarters Team consists of 5 US based associates plus several ad hoc global team members as needed for CPS IT Program/Project requirements.


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Systems:


  • Responsible for the management of all shared IT systems across CPS Headquarters (SAP, ERP,

 MS Outlook, SharePoint, servers, etc., but excluding shop-floor systems)


  • Ensures that appropriate contingency and recovery procedures are in place, that security and controls are implemented & tested according with company policies.

    • Responsible for the integrity and security of data and systems, ensuring conformity to corporate standards.

Technology:


  • Manage technical expertise in establishing/supporting IT infrastructure to ensure that systems are appropriate, validated, and within TCCC IT specifications. This includes LAN/WAN, desktops, printers, servers, computer room, telecommunications, disaster recovery redundancy, etc.



Business:


  • Provides long-term strategic planning to support future growth. Set direction & strategy to the ERP Business Applications Team, and, determine & allocate resources to achieve the goals.

  • Accountable for team results and alignment of the Group’s objectives with CPS objectives and Business Plan

  • Develops plans to ensure that the CPS Headquarters teams have the right skills and competencies to enable them achieve the business strategies and goals.

  • Prepares and controls operating expense budgets and capital plans within appropriate Chart of Authority levels.

 Related Experience Requirements/Qualifications:

10 + years IT related experience

5 + years managerial experience

5 + years’ experience of SAP in a manufacturing environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualification

Third level (Diploma, B.Sc or M.Sc.) degree in computer science or closely related field.
