Health & Nutrition Manager Singapore

Position Overview:

A. JOB SUMMARY:
To lead science-based leadership engagement with key stakeholders in Singapore and Malaysia, and ASEAN to maximize growth and increase brand and shareholder value for The Coca-Cola Company, focusing on reducing barriers and increasing acceptanceof our sparkling beverages and accelerating benefits of our stills brands.  Develop the long term strategy to ensure that we maintain and strengthen our social license to operate. A large part of the responsibility is to proactively engage with key influencers and opinion shapers, to shape category view, and to find new ways to effectively tell the Coca-Cola story using facts through publications, conferences, workshops, social media, interviews and other outlets.

B. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategize and engage highly influence external stakeholders. 25%

a. One-on-ones with opinion shapers (nutritionists, healthcare community, medical associations), to get The Company's position heard. Working with programme partners to advance and amplify active, healthy living research, messages and practices such as the Exercise is Medicine program.

b. Jointly consult with Public Affairs & Communications to establish with these stakeholders areas of mutual interest e.g. research, community outreach, symposia,

c. Conduct "listening"/"monitoring" for early detection.

d. Affirming the quality and safety of our ingredients and products and communicate positive results from research

2. Drive and lead Communications on Key Company Public Affairs & Communications and SRA positions including localization of the global materials. 25%

a. Actively engages on social media platforms and traditional media.

b. Monitors and crafts reactive communications to negative media coverage.

3. Develop curriculum to build institutional knowledge and skills to defend the truth, educate the unaware, conducts sessions for
front-liners, sales team, associates (CCSB, CPS included), customers. 15%

4. Staunchly advocate the Key Company Public Affairs & Communications and SRA positions to industry and provide advisory leadership on ASEAN-wide Health & Nutrition initiatives

a. Actively participate in Government-Industry dialogue sessions (AVA, HPB) prior to regulations being passed, represents KO interests vocally

b. Actively lead dialogue with industry to promote the perspective of our business, help drive beneficial change to help grow the beverage industry.

5. Support SRA governance: 15%

a. Provide expert advice on regulatory issues and opportunities for product claims that are compliant to or permitted by relevant laws and regulations, together with SRA.

b. Actively responds to to inquiries or objections by state or federal officials relating to labelling and/or use of ingredients

c. Clarification on food regulations and their implementation
