Manage the Global Equity programs for The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola Refreshments; Stock Options, Performance Share Units, Restricted Stock and the Deferred Compensation Program. Manage the integration points of the TCCC and CCR programs. Apply knowledge of Equity policies to manage plans and program performance, adherence to Federal, State and Local legislation, adherence to internal and external audits, SOX compliance, company policies and standard practices to ensure compliance and minimize financial risk to the Company. Evaluate existing processes in-line with industry trends, create innovative process improvements, negotiate and obtain buy-in from cross-functional teams and implement changes to improve operating efficiencies while meeting annual performance metrics. Lead and influence Regional Equity Managers in the administration of Global Equity programs and adherence to global policy. Create and implement global process changes as well as customize processes to adhere to legal requirements for local legislation. Leverage standard processes to mitigate financial risk to the Company. Oversee global baseline support for an estimated 10,000 participants to ensure compliance on equity-related transactions; to include but not limited to proper tax withholding on ISA/ESA’s and cross-border associates, those in special Group programs and those affected by changes to global and local regulations. Manage Equity-related transactions for special populations: Section 16 associates, 10B5-1 participants as well an International/European Service Associates. Manage issue escalations from participants; research complex and often problematic issues; evaluate impact to associate, and deliver messages to participants to bring about a resolution in-line with federal and local regulations. Leverage knowledge in Global Equity regulations to manage communication to participants regarding tax compliance, local legislation to provide understanding on award/option taxation. Oversee the Performance Share Unit dividend payments for the broad-base population. Manage the Deferred Compensation Program; program guidelines, participant enrollment and issue escalations. Manage external vendors: partner to deliver high quality, secured financial information to the participants. Manage the GBS Global Compensation Equity Team; manage equivalent resources against baseline workload, initiatives and projects, manage performance, development and career plans. Manage resource availability for all Equity-related projects. Work closely with Compensation Project Manager on Equity-related projects; provide guidance on deliverables to ensure deliverables adhere to policies. Manage the loading and reconciliation of the annual and quarterly Equity Awards. Oversee the preparation of the annual Proxy meeting exhibits. Manage the integrity of the global data in equity-related systems; the Stock Option System, Benefits On-line, to ensure accurate system integration and reporting. Lead initiative to evaluate data system/data process with intention to improve efficiencies. Oversee quarterly and year-end reporting as well as the Outstanding and Available Shares monthly reports. Ensure compliance with GBS model; operating procedures, project plans and confidentiality of information. Manage the annual project plan for Deferred Compensation, Stock Option and PSU Equity programs; adhere to annual milestone and delivery dates. Manage integration points and relationship with cross-functional managers.
