Hughes is looking to add an Account Manager to our North America Enterprise Sales and Marketing team!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* All tasks associated with identifying, developing and closing new business, including basic prospecting, initial contact, opportunity analysis, development of effective solution and closing. 

* This position is supported with sales engineering and other corporate resources as required to facilitate the account development and closing activities. 
This position involves ~50% business travel.

REQUIRED:
4+ years successful sales in managed network services, telecom or broadband
* Outstanding interpersonal, communication and analytical skills 
* Demonstrated abilities to successfully engage with a wide variety of functional areas within large organizations, including senior and C-level personnel
* A proven track record of success in selling large, complex, multi-million dollar solutions to the target market, as demonstrated by successive years of successful quota attainment and success in major accounts
* Thorough knowledge and familiarity with all common types of enterprise Wide Area Networking technology and associated industry providers
* 4+ years experience selling and/or supporting the sales of WAN solutions to large enterprises
* Self-starter, able to work independently - and generate results
* Solid time- management skills
* Proven complex account sales skills
* Ability to present yourself and the Company in a superior manner
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to give professional sales presentations to prospective clients
* Ability to spend at least 2-3 nights per week on business travel
