Human Resources Manager, Indonesia Amartha Microfinance


Amartha Microfinance or legally stated as Koperasi Amartha Indonesia is a new institution which started operation in October 2010. Its mission is to provide financial services in shariah principles to low income people in rural areas. Amartha Microfinance has two main products, group lending which is delivered in Grameen model and savings products. As social business institution, Amartha Microfinance is poverty focus and brings forward its social mission by providing services such as basic financial education, and community organizing.
About the Job: 
Amartha Microfinance is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Manager. S/he will be a key member of Amartha leadership team. S/he will be responsible to lead organization growth through effective recruitment, retention, and learning & development management.
Tasks and Responsibilities: 
  • Setting-up strategic plan for HR department;
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to recruitment and selection and staff capacity development;
  • Handle job evaluation/appraisal performance;
  • Lead the construction and implementation of talent management program and succession plan.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in human resources management in managerial position, preferably from microfinance and banking sector;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Good interpersonal skill and high commitment;
  • Attention to detail.
