For high-calibre professionals, the language competitive examinations offer a platform to launch an international career at the United Nations.

The following competitive examinations will be held for talented, motivated and qualified individuals:

• English Interpreters on 10 and 11 April 2013. The application deadline for this exam is 28 January 2013.
• French Interpreters on 17 and 18 April 2013. The application deadline for this exam is 28 January 2013.
• Spanish Interpreters on 15 and 16 May 2013. The application deadline for this exam is 1 February 2013.

Applications from women are strongly encouraged.
