Assistant Professor in Economic Geography/Regional or Urban Economics

We are looking to recruit a candidate to join one of the world’s best known economic geography groups in a Department, which enjoys very strong international student demand across a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programmes.
You should have a PhD in Economic Geography or a related field (or be close to finishing) and a proven or developing record of publications in refereed international journals based on research that has the potential to be internationally excellent and possibly world leading in terms of originality, significance and rigour.
You must have a research interest in Economic Geography or Regional/Urban Economics and show a clear and visible strategy for future top quality research. You should also have excellent communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team in the development strategy of the Department.
