Job Summary
You will be an outstanding candidate, with extensive experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and a particularly strong research profile. Specifically, it is desirable that you have a track record of excellence in both research and teaching in marketing. You may specialise in any area of marketing, including consumer behaviour, services and retail marketing, branding, marketing communications, marketing research, and international and strategic marketing.
The School places a premium on international levels of scholarship and research excellence and is ranked second in the UK and first in the Russell Group of leading research-active UK Universities for marketing (Complete University Guide 2013).
You will be expected to play a role in leading the development of the scholarly standing of the Marketing Division. Under the leadership of its three professors, the Marketing Division is making great strides in its research performance and now exhibits considerable strength and depth. The Marketing Division is the only UK group that edits one of the main American Marketing Association journals, namely the Journal of International Marketing.
