Avisa Partners is a public affairs company based in Brussels. We specialize inter alia in competition, energy, financial services and trade. The Brussels office consists of circa 35 consultants and senior advisors. The competition practice itself comprises 8 consultants.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Avisa Partners seeks a consultant to join our competition team. Our preference would go to a senior person but we are ready to consider CVs from junior ones, as long as they have gathered sufficient relevant professional experience through internships in the public and private sectors.

Your tasks and responsibilities would include:

• provide hands-on, expert competition advice to the customers of Avisa Partners;
• depending on your experience, be a contributor in building and developing the Avisa Partners competition client base;
• depending on your seniority, the job could be upgraded to associate director or director.

PROFILE

• at least one internship in EU Institutions on competition matters, and another one in private practice or with another public affairs consultancy;
• impeccable English, good French and/or good German. The command of other European languages would be a plus;
• interest and experience on other policy fields than competition would be a plus;
• German, Nordic or Central European citizenship would be a plus;
• post-graduate European studies from a renowned University (such as the College of Europe) would be a plus;
• diligent, proactive and service-minded character;
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• result-oriented and organised individual.
