Sandvik IT Global Shared Services is a support function with the mission of meeting the IT needs of Sandvik's business globally. Network Services is a department of IT Global Shared Services that has responsibility for all networks within Sandvik. During the last year the department’s global network team, a core team of fifteen people, has become a focal point for business and technical development. The team's objective is to reinvent networking in order to meet emerging requirements and create a more robust and effective planning process. Part of this process is to build the next generation of networking by supporting a fully cloud-enabled environment with cloud-based security and distributed Internet access. Therefore, Sandvik Network Services offers everything from very technical competencies to strong leadership skills and good project management.
To ensure attractive network services, we are now looking for a Service Production Coordinator, who will be part of an agile team in the forefront of change. We work in a fast changing area to support future demands from the business with Cloud enablement and digitalization, and you will have the opportunity to work in a truly global environment. The position is to be located in Sandviken.
Job Summary
As a Service Production Coordinator for Network Services, you are responsible for the daily production of our network service. You make sure that we achieve agreed service levels, and you contribute to the development of new services, demand management, as well as senior stakeholder management and interaction with our network suppliers. Furthermore, you are the focal point for, both internal and external clients in all matters related to the service. You also ensure that all work procedures are maintained and kept up to date, while assisting with continual service improvements and implementing them.
Occasional travel might be required domestically and internationally.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT, such as in Computer Science, or equivalent qualifications. You have extensive IPVPN, WAN, VLAN and MPLS experience, and you need at least five years’ experience from working in a similar environment. As we work in a global setting, you have proven cooperation skills and communicate fluently in English, both in writing and speaking. Additionally, you have experience from:
  • Cisco LAN equipment/solutions (with Cisco certification, or equivalent experience)
  • LAN-segmentation and firewalls
  • Routing and switching technologies
  • Cloud Enablement, LAN and Connectivity
  • Testing and defining technical KPI structures
  • Writing technical specifications, business cases and financial justifications
  • ITIL
