DFID Pakistan has one vacancy for an Social Development Adviser. This post is based in the Economic Inclusion and Poverty Team (EIP) within the Economic Growth Group of DFID Pakistan (DFID-P), one of DFID’s largest and most innovative economic growth portfolios globally. The EIP team works on improving the lives of the poorest and most vulnerable people, helping them to cope with social and economic shocks, and expanding opportunities for equitable participation in the economy.

Infrastructure Adviser

DFID Pakistan is looking to recruit an Infrastructure Adviser. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Education team, within the Basic Services Group. You will need a positive, pro-active and can-do attitude to the role. You must have demonstrated an ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving situation and to juggle a varied workload. Strong technical experience in the infrastructure sector, preferably within school construction or a similar area, as well as communication and organisational skills, will be critical.
