Through the NORCAP mechanism, we aim to provide those at risk with access to protection and to ensure that their rights are respected throughout all stages of a crisis or disaster. Skills:
These assignments require knowledge of logistics operations and practices, ability to develop logistics policies and procedures; knowledge of fiscal policies and procedures and ability to apply them; ability to provide professional technical advice in a broad range of logistics areas to managers as well as good understanding of markets and the supply chain management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of professional humanitarian experience within the area of Logistics.
- University degree within a relevant field of study.
- Fluent in French and English, Arabic, Greek, and/or Spanish is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in highly stressful situations.
- Strong coordination skills preferably within the UN system.
