Proposal Objective:
The purpose of this Task Order is to strengthen the capacity of Intermediate Support Organizations (ISOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Mexico, which includes USAID/Mexico’s current local partners, to enhance aid effectiveness and to improve strategic alliances with the private sector that promote USAID/Mexico’s development objectives. The period of performance is four years.
Position Description:
SI is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration for the USAID/Mexico Civil Society Activity to provide training and support to local CSOs and ISOs to ensure transparent and efficient financial management of projects. This position will be full-time and based in Mexico.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Chief of Party with financial oversight and reporting.
  • Maintain regular communication with Social Impact headquarters staff to provide timely and complete financial support.
  • Provide assistance to local organizations in updating and improving their financial systems
  • Train local staff in relevant financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure USAID requirements for financial management are being met.
  • Oversee the financial management of the project, including managing project accounting, payroll, inventory, vendor contracts and payments, and other finance- related matters.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or other relevant field required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in project financial management, including grant management of donor funded projects required; USAID experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency using MS Office and excellent writing skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.
