Job Description
The Government of Australia (GoA), through the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT), is a partner with the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K) under the office of the Vice President of the Government of Indonesia. TNP2K is a policy think tank to improve the quality and effectiveness of Indonesia's poverty reduction programs that reach millions of poor Indonesians. The next phase of social protection support from November 2015 through to November 2019 is MAHKOTA Indonesia - Menuju Masyarakat Indonesia Yang Kokoh Sejahtera (Towards a Strong and Prosperous Indonesian Society). It will continue to provide support to help Indonesia better reach and benefit the poorest, as well as address key binding constraints to growth, competitiveness and rising inequality through ongoing labour market and social protection reforms.
As Managing Contractor of MAHKOTA Program, Cardno is seeking a Data Analyst who will assist Head of Health Protection Working Group of TNP2K in preparing qualified analysis and developing policy framework of particular issues related to health.
Key Responsibilities will include:

Remuneration
This is a locally engaged position and Indonesian Nationals or those with the right to work in Indonesia are encouraged to apply. The position will be remunerated in line with local labour laws.

Key Responsibilities will include:
- To assist the Head of Health Protection Working Group to prepare and organizes information materials related to health insurance for the poor
- Prepare draft Term of Reference on particular activities
- To draft instruments, collect primary data on particular issues related on health
- To clean, analysis the data (primary and secondary data) as well as to write a report on particular issues
- To analyze data which cover process of cleaning, transforming and conducting initial projection to be process further by Team as required
- Prepare draft policy papers on particular issues related to access of medical care for the poor
- Master Degree, preferable in Health Administration / Health Insurance / Health Policy
- At least 3 years of experience in relevant roles
- Strong knowledge on utilization of statistical tools (SAS, STATA, SPSS)
- Adequate analytical skill: regression, and other statistical procedures
- Able to interpret and present statistical information
- Previous experience in rigorous field survey activities is an advantage
- Previous experience in survey data collection and analysis is required
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently as well as multitasking; including to meet tight deadlines as well as managing uncertainty and adjust to a changing work program.
- Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English.
