Job Summary
Cardno is a professional infrastructure and environmental services company, with expertise in the development and improvement of physical and social infrastructure for communities around the world.
Cardno is seeking a Staff Geologist / Staff Engineer in our Billings, Montana office to oversee site assessment and remediation of a portfolio of remediation sites including Refineries and bulk plants. This position will include a combination of field and office work.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> Prepare work plans, site conceptual models, and assessment reports
> Perform site assessment activities
> Permitting and coordination of field activities
> Plan and perform field data collection and review
> Perform remediation system operation and maintenance, data collection, and review

Basic Qualifications:
> BS or BA in geology, engineering, or a related field
> 0-5 years experience in Geology or Environmental work
> Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work independently
> Willingness and an ability to travel and stay overnight
> The ability to drive a company vehicle and an acceptable motor vehicle record
> The ability to comply with strict safety protocols and procedures
Desired Qualifications:
> OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training
> LPS training
> Experience in data collection and report preparation related to environmental site assessment and remediation
* Please Note that selected candidates will be required to pass a drug, background and reference screening.
